Something I need to say…

To me, this site isn’t a “fan site”. I’m not a ZOEgirl “fan”. I am simply someone who was touched by their ministry. I think that ZOEgirl was a rarity in the CCM industry and not many artists care about their listeners the way ZOEgirl did about theirs. There is a lot of Biblical truth and life changing content in ZOEgirl’s music, which is why this site was put together. There is also so much you can learn through their personal testimonies. ZOEgirl taught me that when you listen to the voice of God, even when the going is rough, even when you think you have everything figured out, that that will ultimately be the best decision you can ever make. Read the girls’ biographies and you will see the truth: Our God is real. And He loves you.

An honest look at ZOEgirl

Hey everyone!

As you know, I run another blog which is about Christian music in general. I will be focusing more on my favourite artists. One of the things I will be doing is having a page for each of those artists where I talk about how I got to know their music, my top 10 songs by them, why I like them, and why I don’t like them, as well as how that artist changed my life.

The thing is, a lot of artists I listen to are ones I have a limited relationship with. ZOEgirl is the only artist whose personal lives I know and care about. So that made writing the ZOEgirl page all the more easier. It is now complete.

If you were wondering if there was anything about ZOEgirl that I didn’t like, well now you can find out! But it will also show you why I love this group so much.

3 hours and 15 minutes until freedom!

In 3 hours and 15 minutes, i will have finished writing all of my midterms, so I will have time to finish transferring files from the old home to here, and to work on my other blog . Hey everyone,

Please pray for me as I write three exams this week! No work will be done on ForeverZOE until Friday of this week. Not that there is any work to do…but you get the point.

I also met somebody online who has videos of OLD ZOEgirl TV appearances…We’re talking pre-Different Kind of Free! So stay tuned for the latest on that.

Stacie Orrico…and my new blog!

Hey guys, no updates because there’s nothing new to say…

BUT, I started a new blog called The God Kind of LIFE which is about Christian music, and even Christian living. I never actually worked on it until a few days ago, when I started listening to some old Stacie Orrico songs.

Stacie is one of those artists whose music I’ve had an interesting relationship with over the past four years. She is probably the most controversial artist in the Christian music world. The drama surrounding her signing to a secular label was unparalleled until Katy Hudson emerged as Katy Perry.
